I have to admit that I was less than thrilled when my teenage sons (Josh and Nicholas) came home one day, and “surprise” look what we bought!!!!  They were both about to leave for college, so I knew this brown little fluffball would become my responsibility! I already had enough on my plate at the time, however, it wasn't long before this dog became my best friend, my confidante, and my biggest supporter through some of the most challenging times in my life.  Before I knew it, Ryn, my (oops our), Chocolate Labrador/Chesapeake Retriever was going everywhere with me – even to work!

When she was around two years-old, my beloved buddy began to show signs of serious illness and anxiety.  After numerous visits to various veterinarians, we had no diagnosis and many more questions than answers.  Determined to get her the help she needed, I loaded her up and drove her to the University of Minnesota Veterinary Hospital.  After several appointments and a couple of procedures, she was ultimately diagnosed with a few conditions all relating to her digestive tract and anxiety. She would probably need medication the rest of her life and we were going to have to be extremely careful of what she ate!  After many sleepless nights, people in my life advised me to consider having her put to sleep.  That was NOT one of my options! I knew I had to find a way to help her live a healthier life!!!

As we launched her wellness journey, I quickly realized that the standard dog foods and treats were actually worsening her ailments.  So……… out went all of the dog bones, treats and any type of food she was eating. She needed something that was all-natural, good for energy, digestion and anxiety. That’s when I decided to take matters into my own hands.  After making many homemade meals and continually conducting my own research, I decided to share what I have learned and get out products that can help other pets and their owners be proactive!

I hope to inspire people to be proactive about their pet’s health and to offer solutions for those struggling with various conditions.  I’ve personally witnessed how these chews, treats and oils have helped Ryn return to a normal, happy lifestyle (medication free), so I know they can work for you and your pet when looking for different solutions and products.  Since our pals can’t voice their aches and pains, it is our job to notice when something isn’t right and seek solutions to help improve their lives.  Just like our own health, theirs too, depends on a balance of body, mind, and spirit.  I am glad to share our new products here at PetsPro+.  Yes, that’s Ryn on the label!
